Lanet Gate is the second most used entrance to Lake Nakuru National Park. It is located along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway, which makes it very easy to access, especially for travelers coming directly from Nairobi. Unlike the Old Main Gate, you do not need to go into Nakuru town to use this gate. Lanet Gate is found on the eastern side of Lake Nakuru and is a convenient entry point for many visitors.
This gate is well-equipped with all the basic park services. It has electronic payment systems, park offices, an information center, and a ranger post. If you did not pay for your park activities earlier, you can complete the payment here before entering the park. The staff at the gate can also assist you with information and guidance about your visit.

Lake Nakuru National Park is located in central Kenya, northwest of Nairobi. It can be reached by road in about three to four hours or by air in thirty to forty minutes.
The park has three main entrance gates: the Old Main Gate, Lanet Gate, and Nderit Gate. All gates open at 7:00 am and close at 6:00 pm East African Time. Each gate offers similar services, so visitors can choose the most convenient one based on their route.
