Nderit Gate is the least used and least known of the three entrance gates to Lake Nakuru National Park. It is mainly used by travelers coming from the Masai Mara or Elementaita conservation areas. Even though it is not as popular as the other gates, it still provides a good entry point into the park.
Nderit Gate offers all the basic park services. These include electronic payment systems, park offices, an information center, and a ranger post in case you need help or guidance. If you did not pay for your park entry or activities before arriving, you can make your payments at this gate.
Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the most visited game parks in Kenya. It is known for its large number of birds and animals. The park has over 400 bird species and more than 50 species of mammals.

All three gates open at 7:00 am and close at 6:00 pm East African Time. Most visitors enter through the Old Main Gate or Lanet Gate, but Nderit Gate is a good option for those who prefer a quieter entry or are coming from the west or south.
Nderit Gate connects well to areas of the park where you can enjoy game drives, bird watching, and scenic views. It is also a good starting point if you want to explore less crowded parts of the park. For those looking for a peaceful safari experience, Nderit Gate is a great choice.
